On 5 August 2025, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation designated the Zimin Foundation UK – a UK-registered non-for-profit organization - as an “undesirable organization.” This, in accordance with the Russian legislation,  imposes certain restrictions for the third parties on co-operation with the Zimin Foundation UK.

Any individuals and organizations considering co-operation with the Zimin Foundation UK should take this into account and get legal advice on this matter.

We are deeply grateful for many years of collaboration to the projects historically established with our support: The Enlightener Award (established in 2008 by Dmitry Zimin), the Redkollegia Award (established in 2016 by Boris Zimin), the School of Molecular and Theoretical Biology (founded in 2012 with the support of the Dynasty Foundation).  We believe those projects are very well positioned to continue with their mission independently from us.
